The open source bridge on road 263 above Erikssund will be replaced by a new openable bridge. The two existing lanes are widened and the bridge will be completed once and the cycle path for unprotected road users.<\/strong><\/h5>\n
The source on road 263 above H\u00e5tunaviken at Erikssund is located on the border between Sigtuna Municipality and Upplands-Bro Municipality. The bridge opens for sea traffic approximately 1000 times a year.<\/strong><\/h5>\n
Road 263 is operated by 5,500 vehicles per day, of which about 660 are heavy vehicles. The road width of the existing bridge is about six meters and heavy vehicles have difficulty encountering the bridge. Today there is no area reserved for pedestrians or cyclists who must therefore be combined with other vehicle groups.<\/strong><\/h5>\n
The source has reached its technical life and needs to be replaced, as there are obvious risks of downtime. The consequence of downtime is queues as well as long diversion routes across Uppsala and Rotebro.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div><\/section>\n
