infrastructure holding energy use<\/span><br \/>\n<span title=\"\">and climate impact in a life cycle perspective<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span title=\"\">The transport system uses energy and affects the climate partly through emissions from traffic and partly through emissions from construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure.<\/span> <span title=\"\">Climate calculation is a model that has been developed in order to efficiently and consistently calculate the energy use and climate load that the transport infrastructure gives rise to from a life cycle perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">The model can be used to make climate calculations for investment objects and basic contracts for maintenance roads, as well as as tools for working efficiently and systematically with climate and energy efficiency improvements in infrastructure management.<\/span> <span title=\"\">Calculations can be made either on the basis of detailed type measures or project-specific quantity data for material and energy resources.<\/span> <span title=\"\">Traffic energy use or emissions are not included.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<div  class='tabcontainer av-av_tab_container-cdfb33d025ccce82e3bec7780d128c1e sidebar_tab sidebar_tab_left  avia-builder-el-1  el_after_av_textblock  avia-builder-el-last  border_tabs' active_tab_content' aria-hidden=\"false\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4>Climate calcululation measure roll study (K0)<\/h4>\n<p><span title=\"\">The calculation of the climate calculation, K0, is made in the action selection study for investment and reinvestment measures with a total cost of \u2265 50 million.<\/span> <span title=\"\">The climate calculation must only be carried out when the measure is covered by simple or complete SEB with a socio-economic calculation that contains a calculation of carbon dioxide emissions from traffic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">The status should be the final version and the climate calculation must be made in the full version of the Climate Calculation model.<\/span> <span title=\"\">The appendix is saved together with other documentation for SEB and is named analogously with the routine for SEB but with the additional name Climate calculation.<\/span> <span title=\"\">The climate calculation then constitutes a basis for decision when choosing a measure.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-9dbb2f8d0fdba25dc968759071d0c4f3'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='tab' role='tab' tabindex='0' data-fake-id='#tab-id-2' aria-controls='tab-id-2-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >Consultation basis K1<\/div><div id='tab-id-2-content' class='tab_content' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4><span title=\"\">Climate calculation in plan before deciding on significant environmental impact (K1)<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span title=\"\">Physical planning begins with the development of a plan before deciding on significant environmental impacts.<\/span> <span title=\"\">At this stage, the County Administrative Board determines whether the investment or reinvestment measure is deemed to lead to significant environmental impact or not.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">An initial financial update should be made.<\/span> <span title=\"\">A new climate calculation, K1, will be made with regard to the new substrate.<\/span> <span title=\"\">The result from the climate calculation must be reported in chapter four of SEB, if SEB is established, and forms part of the consultation basis for decisions on significant environmental impact.<\/span> <span title=\"\">Climate calculations must be made even if a SEB has not been established as it forms the basis for climate requirements on infrastructure<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-631c87de88f63dfefae66e1204e2df6d'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='tab' role='tab' tabindex='0' data-fake-id='#tab-id-3' aria-controls='tab-id-3-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >Consultation Plan for selection of alternatives K2 <\/div><div id='tab-id-3-content' class='tab_content' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4>Climate calculation in plan for choice of alternative (k2)<\/h4>\n<p>After consultation, a plan for the selection of alternatives is drawn up showing different location, stretching, standard and design alternatives. The plan shall include the information needed for an overall assessment of the contributions of the studied alternatives to the environmental quality objectives. Here, the climate calculation K2 is an important basis for assessing contributions to the goal of limited climate impact.<\/p>\n<p>A second financial update is done through uncertainty analysis. Climate calculation K2 shall be made with regard to the new financial basis for the various alternatives. At this stage, the climate calculator can be a tool for analyzing how different choices and solutions affect the climate performance of the investment or reinvestment measure.<\/p>\n<p>The result from the climate calculation must be reported in chapter four of SEB, if an SEB is established, and forms part of the plan for the choice of alternatives. Climate calculations must be made even if an SEB has not been established as it forms the basis for climate requirements on infrastructure.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-e5a5b85d8a933b50f40fca55e8cedbcb'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='tab' role='tab' tabindex='0' data-fake-id='#tab-id-4' aria-controls='tab-id-4-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >Consultation Action Plan for review K3 <\/div><div id='tab-id-4-content' class='tab_content' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4><span title=\"\">Climate calculation in plan for review (k3)<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span title=\"\">In the plan for review, a third quality assurance of the plant cost calculation takes place.<\/span> <span title=\"\">A new climate calculation, K3, will be made with regard to the new financial basis.<\/span> <span title=\"\">The result from the climate calculation shall be reported in chapter four of SEB, if SEB has been established, and forms part of the review document prior to determination.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">Climate calculations must be made even if an SEB has not been established as it forms the basis for climate requirements on infrastructure.<\/span> <span title=\"\">In the event that comments from the review are received that entail a revision of the total cost, a new climate calculation shall also be made with regard to the revisions carried out.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span title=\"\">Climate calculation in determination document (k3)<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span title=\"\">The determination document establishes the conditions for the implementation of the investment or reinvestment measure and the total cost based on the audit document.<\/span> <span title=\"\">By being included in SEB, the climate calculation is part of the basis for the determination document.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-3b979b0a07c22c533ba035cbc1a9dfaa'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='tab' role='tab' tabindex='0' data-fake-id='#tab-id-5' aria-controls='tab-id-5-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >Construction document<\/div><div id='tab-id-5-content' class='tab_content' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4><span title=\"\">Climate calculation in construction (k4)<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span title=\"\">In conjunction with updating the construction cost calculation in the construction document, a new climate calculation, K4, is made in case the construction costs have changed.<\/span> <span title=\"\">K4 is made in conjunction with the preparation of tender documentation for contracting.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-9807d4fbeec9be5b4b26196c5110218f'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='tab' role='tab' tabindex='0' data-fake-id='#tab-id-6' aria-controls='tab-id-6-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >Climate declaration<\/div><div id='tab-id-6-content' class='tab_content' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4><span title=\"\">Climate Declaration (KD)<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span title=\"\">At the end of a project, an after-calculation in the form of a climate declaration must be prepared that reports the actual outcome of the investment or reinvestment measure.<\/span> <span title=\"\">The climate declaration is partly a result of the investment or reinvestment measure&#8217;s climate performance and partly a basis that contributes with experience feedback to identify the most effective solutions and to update templates and calibrate the climate calculation model.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">The climate declaration must be carried out with the model Climate Calculation and specific input data for used amounts of material and energy resources shall be used.<\/span> <span title=\"\">If specific emission factors are used, they must be verifiable with third party audited environmental product declarations type III (EPD) according to European standard EN 15804 or equivalent.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[118],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
