The general rules of consideration specify which general environmental considerations the practitioner must follow by himself. They mean that, as far as environmentally motivated, the operator is economically reasonable and technically possible (the principle of fairness):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must document and be able to show that the business is acceptable (the burden of proof rule).<\/li>\n<li>Must acquire the knowledge needed to protect human health or the environment (the Knowledge requirement).<\/li>\n<li>Must take action already at risk of disturbance, inconvenience or abuse. Best available technology in the industry should be used (Precautionary principle).<\/li>\n<li>Must choose a suitable location for running the business (Localization Principle).<\/li>\n<li>Must use raw materials and energy as efficiently as possible, and exploit the opportunities for reuse and recycling (The principles of housekeeping and recycling).<\/li>\n<li>Must avoid chemical products that may pose a risk to human health or the environment (Product Choice Principle).<\/li>\n<li>Is obliged to pay the measures that are reasonable and are responsible for recovering damages (Liability).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-1601e71b3ed335cac090ea434d0397e6'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='tab' role='tab' tabindex='0' data-fake-id='#tab-id-3' aria-controls='tab-id-3-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >Excavation masses that are waste<\/div><div id='tab-id-3-content' class='tab_content' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4><span title=\"\">Excavation masses that are waste<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span title=\"\">Occupational recycling of waste is an environmentally hazardous activity that must be tested by an authority either in the form of a permit application or in the form of a notification.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">Different types of waste recycling are defined in Chapter 15.<\/span> <span title=\"\">Sections 4 and 6 of the Environmental Code.<\/span> <span title=\"\"><strong>Reuse<\/strong> means that a material or product is reused for the same purpose as its original function without any extensive treatment or modification.<\/span> <span title=\"\"><strong>Material recycling<\/strong> means that waste is reprocessed into a new product or material but excludes its use as a filling material.<\/span> <span title=\"\"><strong>Recycling<\/strong> encompasses all use of a waste that means it will be used as a substitute for other material.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">The general order of priorities for different types of recycling is:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span title=\"\">Recycling<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span title=\"\">Material recycling<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span title=\"\">Other recycling (eg as filling material)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-av_tab-40894a60aa25f589d1e8f65bd7032eca'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='tab' role='tab' tabindex='0' data-fake-id='#tab-id-4' aria-controls='tab-id-4-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >Excavation masses in large infrastructure projects<\/div><div id='tab-id-4-content' class='tab_content' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4><span title=\"\">Excavation masses in large infrastructure projects<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span title=\"\">A mass management plan for masses that can be re-used within or outside the project is included in the decision basis for a road or rail plan, which after determination is equated with a permit according to the Environmental Code.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"\">Large infrastructure projects often generate very large amounts of rock and soil masses.<\/span> <span title=\"\">The management of these must be reported in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIA), which is drawn up following a decision from the county administrative board.<\/span> <span title=\"\">The mass management plan for masses that can be reused within and \/ or outside the project thus becomes part of the decision basis for the final road or rail plan, which is established by the Swedish Transport Administration after consultation with the county administrative board.<\/span><br \/>\n<span title=\"\">An established roadmap is equated with a permit according to the Environmental Code and these have legal force and apply to everyone.<\/span> <span title=\"\">It is therefore important that, when determining, it is clear what has been tested, within the framework of the plan, with regard to mass management.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[118],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
